J.R. Greene, FACHE

J.R. Greene is the founder of Psychiatric Medical Care, the nation’s largest behavioral healthcare management company with over 400 hospital and health system partners in more than 35 states. He also serves as vice chair of PMC’s Board of Directors.

Prior to his career in behavioral healthcare, Greene held leadership roles in marketing and sales at the Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, and Revlon. Greene is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a board member of the Nashville Healthcare Council,  and a member of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine Board of Visitors.

Greene drew national attention as the “Big Orange Tux Guy” when he led UT’s football team onto the field for the 1999 national championship game. Learn more about this funny story at volstux.com.

Doug Wilson, MBA

Doug Wilson is the founder and president of Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP), PMC’s telehealth division. Doug has been involved in the telepsychiatry industry since 2010. Having worked with psychiatric providers since 2003, Doug has experience and success in recruiting psychiatrists which is one of the key management services that PMC provides its partner facilities. In 2019, PMC gained Integrated Telehealth Partners as its third division allowing the company to provide timely access to behavioral healthcare for patients of all ages via telepsychiatry.

Prior to founding ITP, Doug held leadership positions within Pfizer Inc. and University Directories. He earned his BBA in Marketing and Management from Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA, and his MBA and M.S. of Strategic Management from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.

Doug is a behavioral health advocate and regularly presents at government agencies and mental health organizations.

Jay Ricke

Jay Ricke joined Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP) as director of business development in January 2017 bringing 25 years of healthcare and medical sales experience to the organization.   

Prior to joining ITP, Jay worked as the diligent director for Arjo, a division of Getinge Group. Getinge is a worldwide leader in patient handling, patient hygiene equipment, and injury prevention programs.  Jay had previously worked for Arjo as an account executive for 17 years and then transitioned to a corporate account director for 3 years. Jay began his health care career with Iowa Medical Supply as a regional sales representative.  He has also worked as a regional manager for Crystal, Inc. an Iowa based nursing home organization.   

Jay holds a B.A. in Commercial Economics/Business Administration and a minor in chemistry from South Dakota State University. 

Megan Embrescia, MD

Dr. Megan Embrescia joined ITP as their medical director in 2017, bringing several years of experience in the field of crisis telepsychiatry.

Dr. Embrescia completed both her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at LAC-USC medical center, home to one of the busiest psychiatric emergency rooms in the country. It was there in the psychiatric ER that she developed a passion for treating patients in the most acute phase of their illness. She later made a cross-country move to Charleston, SC, where she discovered that she could see and treat the patient population that she loved via telehealth.

Dr. Embrescia has held medical licenses in over 15 states and has provided care via telemedicine in emergency rooms as well as inpatient, outpatient, mobile crisis, and medical floor settings over the last 10+ years of her career. She has a firm belief in treating individuals in the least restrictive environment possible and offering compassionate quality care to all psychiatric patients.

Dr. Embrescia earned her B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College, and later attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California where she graduated in 2005 with her M.D. Dr. Embrescia is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

After several interstate moves, Dr. Embrescia has now settled in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her 5 young children.

Jessica Lavender, LPC-MHSP

Jessica Lavender, LPC-MHSP, ITP’s Customer Relations Director. Jessica focuses on the overall leadership, management, and oversight of customer success with the Inpatient Psychiatry Service line of Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP). 

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee with 15 years of clinical and administrative behavioral health experience. Before joining PMC, Jessica served as the Director of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. Prior to that role, she was the Manager of Integrated Behavioral Health Care with Ascension Care Management.   

Jessica holds an MS in Counseling Psychology from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and a BS in Communications from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.   

Cindy Walker

Cindy Walker joined PMC’s corporate team as Physician Services Director in August 2020. Cindy is responsible for all physician-related activities across all PMC service lines including physician talent acquisition, communications, provider contracting implementation, contractual compliance, and ongoing relations to retain PMC policies. Cindy comes to PMC with over 20 years of executive healthcare management experience in multiple specialties and most recently acted as a Regional Clinic Director for Pinnacle Dermatology.

Prior to joining PMC, Cindy served as a health care operations leader with an extensive background in administration, management, financial oversight, and quality assurance. She has served on the local Chamber of Commerce Boards, been an active member of several medical management associations, and served on the board for Vintage Affair, a local non-profit supporting women and children in need. Cindy has also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity participating in their Women Build Project, helping families build strength, stability, and independence through housing.

Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in business leadership and healthcare from Bethel University.
