The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, recruit, screen and recommend placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods both internal and external.
Duties and responsibilities
Partners with Regional Director and hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
Screens resumes, interview candidates by phone or in person, administers appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendation for hire or not hire and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings.
Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
Develops and maintains advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Works with Regional Directors and hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System and on the Recruitment board
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
Understanding of current trends in recruiting.
Knowledge of current federal and state laws.
Familiarity and understanding of recruiting and sourcing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent field
Healthcare experience preferred, not required
Ability to communicate well in written formats, i.e. email
Ability to operate as an effective tactical, as well as strategic thinker
Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
Minimum of 3 years in recruiting
PHR and /or SHRM-CP Certifications preferred not required
This job works from home with occasional meetings in a professional office environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or carry boxes from 25-40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
This position does not supervise anyone.
