Job Purpose

The Regional Program Manager is responsible for providing operational support to programs with specific focus on community education and implementation of new programs. Works with Program Directors and program staff on curriculum and program development as directed by Senior Regional Director and in conjunction with Regional Directors. Provides on-site support to ensure operational benchmarks are being met by all programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Regional Program Manager duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Provides on-site support to programs, including some Program Director duties, as assigned by Senior Regional Director.
  • This requires up to 80% travel.
  • Assesses and monitors the goals set by the assigned program in conjunction with the Regional Director.
  • Leads program openings and implementations in collaboration with Regional Directors as the on-site team member.
  • This duty is a prime responsibility and may contribute to 60% or more of time spent in this job.
  • Works collaboratively with Regional Directors to develop, implement and manage tasks while providing on site program support.
  • Understands the concepts of excellence in customer service.
  • Schedules presentations based on community need.
  • Develops contacts with current and potential referral sources.
  • Provides resources for potential patients, social agencies and others as needed.
  • Cultivates relationship with host hospital.
  • Identifies needs and interest of the community and referral sources.
  • Offers training on hospital integration.
  • Participates in the development of a strategic plan in support of programs.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities as requested.
  • Provides program staff with ideas and plans for community outreach curriculum.
  • ·Provides education to community groups as requested by the Program Director.
    ·Identifies needs and interests in the areas of mental health and senior advocacy.

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelors’ degree in nursing, education, marketing, communications, public relations, business administration or a combination of education and experience
    Experience: three to five years related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience in coordinating education or community outreach programs required.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills
    Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    Knowledge of SharePoint/One Drive, and other email/collaboration technologies
    Professional appearance and demeanor
    Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows
    Ability to work remotely

    Working Conditions

    This job predominantly works at various programs located within hospital environments and from a personal home office. Incumbent will be exposed to virus, disease, infection from patients. Travel is required up to 80% including overnight travel.

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position required intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching as well as lifting (up to 50 lbs) and driving.
